1/32 Trumpy Super Bug accessories?

Recommended Posts

No cockpit sets for the F and G?

If you know of some, please guide me in the right direction.

Sadly no. Eduard has an etch set for the Echo, hard to find, but it is out there. These are reasonably decent representations of the Super Bug but neglected by the aftermarket. Steel Beach has a few items, there are intakes and exhaust available but not much else. I'm waiting for the 1/32 Revell F/A-18E kit to be released.

I had an ACS coaming, but it was really hard to cast. Life has gotten busy and I've gotten behind on casting, so that set has kind of taken a back seat. I do need to make new molds for the G update set, though. You can't really make an accurate G from the box.

Its the same with Revell's 1/48 F-18E and F. There's some PE for the E model but it is almost impossible to find. I don't understand how companies like Eduard and Aires determine which kits to make aftermarket for. So many good kits are ignored. I personally like photoetch sets but Eduard seems to use Tarot cards to determine which kits to work on.

Used the Steel Beach stuff here.  Verlindin seats and SB exterior set.

I’ve given up hope that an after market cockpit will be released in 1/32 for the Super Hornet. There are seats from Legend, Wolfpack Design, and Aires.
