WelshZeCorgi
Is there a way to prevent the needle tip from drying during painting? I do run a little bit of thinner through the airbrush before loading the paint, but I still get tip jammed up from time to time.
GazzaS
A lot depends on your paint. In my experience, Tamiya rarely clogs, whilst AK clog often. You can thin the paint, but at a point it becomes counter productive. For AK paints I keep a small bottle of glass cleaner/water 50/50 that I swish around the needle with a soft paintbrush when the tip starts to get dry... then I blow the wetness out before I resume painting. viper730
Vallejo makes an Airbrush Flow Improver. It does a good job. I had given up on the line til this was released. It doen't stop it but reduces it considerably. Just thin as usual then add in apx 1 drop of Flow Imp. to 10 of paint.. as for other brands????? But I think AK is similar to Vallejo in composition Same with Mig...but a test 1st would be my suggestion.
