I would definitely go for the Isradecal sheet if I built this kit again, the OOB decals are well printed but very thick, I spent a fair amount of time to varnish/sand them down

The computor is up and running and I guess it´s time to bring ya´ll up to speed on the Ra´am then 😄

There will be less comentary and more pictures and most are taken with my cellphone.

Anyways I started with the cockpit and cleaning parts for my "forrest of parts"

I went with the idea of putting in the Aires cockpit for the Revell model into this...it had a few chalenges as you will see.

Aires bang seat.

A big gap in front of the IP shroud.

And at the rear I had to adjust the angle slightly on the rear bulkhead.

Nope, it´s the one for the Revell mudhen if you want to convert it to a Ra´am.

Thanks. I have the one for the GWH sample and the Revell sample. They look identical and I hope I dont ruin the GWH kit installing the Aires pit. Let me know how your pit  fits.

Well, there is always extra work when fitting resin into a model...but I think it is worth it 😄

It can be a mixed bag with any Aires resin as well. I bought the cockpit for the GWH kit but when comparing it to the earlier release, they didn't seem to change anything from the cockpit for the Revell F-15E kit. I want to see someone else's work with it (your kit will do) so I don't make a $90 mistake.

Only thing a bit annoying was the gap at the front of the IP shroud...

I would venture that it is the resin pit causing that. The GWH kit is finicky to begin with the proper alignment of the forward fuselage when you glue. I hosed my F-15D kit because I rushed and didn't take the proper precautions before the glue set. I will dry fit the hell out of the Aires cockpit and if it is not going to fit, I wont use it. What would really be helpful is hearing from Aires if they actually re-engineered the Revell pit so it is different in design and will actually fit the GWH kit. Anything less is not good business (false advertising?) in my opinion.

Keep at it Aigore, I want to see a success.
