Gerhard
So who is getting one? It's even bigger than the 1/32 Lancaster, and 3rd of the price.
caudleryan
I'm getting at least one for sure. But, I think I might wait for the D model to come out as I like that variant better.
fulcrum1
I'm getting one. Might wait to get the D version though...
Gerhard
I prefer the J with the front turret. At that price, might get both.
Scott Smith
On pre-order already. As well as the Lancaster. .....I'm going to need a bigger display case.
skyhawk174
I am tempted as I think an assembly ship in that scale will be super cool. However as others have said, WAAAAY too big. I already have a couple of the Monogram kits and I think I am all good to go. Also, I am a 1/48th builder so I think I will stick to my scale. As an aside I would think Hobby Boss will issue multiple versions of this to maximize the return on investment and can you imagine a Privateer in this scale? Awesome. Don
I like 1/32 and I will probably grab one eventually. I've always wanted to do this Liberator: Cool slogan, girly art and a shark mouth... what's not to like! But I have a 1/32 He-219, He-111, and Ju-88 waiting patiently for me along with a dozen other WWII fighters as well as 1/32 jets galore...so I'm in no rush LOL! Should be good kits though! Regards, Don

echolmberg
All I can wonder is what the story is behind the naming of that plane. With a name like that, there's GOT to be a story! Eric
Slartibartfast
100 quatloos says a squadron aircraft was often downed for whatever reasons and could never be rigged to fly correctly. B1tch's Sister probably suffered similar problems. Edited October 11, 2018 by Slartibartfast
P-38 guy
The original 80 Days got her name because it took them 80 days to get there because of mechanical problems. Mike Edited October 11, 2018 by P-38 guy
Wizard_rkt
I pre-ordered two B-24J and two Lanc's.....when WingnutWings puts out their Dambuster, I will get that also. Yes, I will order two B-24D when it is ready for pre-order. Yes, they will be wall-huggers.

11bee
I read on another forum that Hobbycraft may have botched the cross section of the wing. The Davis airfoil has a pretty pronounced curvature, which is especially evident where the wing meets the fuselage. I haven seen any pics that really show this area in detail, is anyone else aware of this potential issue?
Charlie D.
As cool as it is, I'll pass, I just have no room for something that size. I still need to figure nout where to put the two 1/48 monogram kits I have! I'll enjoy looking at all the builds though. Now if someone came out with just a kit of the nose/cockpits of the B-17/24/25 in 1/32, I'd be all over those, as I could do a bunch just to display different nose art! Ken Cartwright
I really don't have room for something this large, but since my Dad worked on them in WWII, I feel compelled to buy one.
