CharlieUH-1H
Hello friends always wanted to do a El Salvador Guardian from the mid 80s and I am working on this one.. I made the tail rotor from sim card holder, removed the bars from the main rotor and made them out of paper clips since the ones that the kit brings are too short in my opinion and the weights out of sprue Edited October 13, 2018 by CharlieUH-1H

midnightprowler
Cool. Are you going to add the leaves back to the tail rotor? It seems kinda bare without them.

BrittMac
Looks great Charlie! If you don't mind a suggestion, I would change the rotor tie-down. You wouldn't want to run it through that antenna on the tail. You can run it from the rotor tip to where the tail stinger meets the tail, and tie it off right there. Put a tie down lead on each side of the tail. \ The tie down is normally fairly taut/tight. Otherwise, the main rotor will move with the wind, etc... Keep making these beauty's please! I'll get back into this someday!
