Beautiful sheets

It’s getting to the point where I have sheet after sheet, then I look in my stash to see the lack kits. Sheets/decal options far outnumber the kits. It’s like all those hundreds of P-47 and P-51 schemes out there, no way I can just pick one to do, they all look great. Same with these and other modern jet marking.

The tough dilemma of our hobby.

Cheers

Collin

Is the data sheet sized for tamiya? Or is it still the same as the hasegawa one?

Well the post says Tamiya, the title says Tamiya and the sheet says Tamiya. Pretty sure I sized it to Tamiya 😆😜

Everything on his sheet was resized/redrawn for Tamiya specifically. The old sheet won't fit Tamiya. Except the weapons stuff that fits the same or within the space of any AM weapons. The only piece I'm aware of is the brown bomb nose, still fits but for Tamiya part requires a slight trim if you want to get that close.

based on the data I have on the AMK kit, these also fit AMK.

HI Brian,

I am not an F-14 expert, Can you tell me if any of the three top Tomcats on the sheet 48085 Tomcats At War Pt2 - F-14B/D Bravo Delta Showboats  is a F-14D?

Thanks in advance.

Yes all of the red and black tails are D's. The only B is VF-102, second from the bottom.

Brian, I’ve preordered mine from Hannants, being on this side of the pond, do you think they will have their stock within three weeks?

Hoping to pick mine sets up at Scale Model World on the 10th of November.

HI,

Very nice.

Any news of the VF-1 Wolfpack decals for the Tamiya kit ?

SPang

If you're asking about early F-14A VF-1 decals, I've been a thorn in Brian's side about those for a long time (sorry Brian). I REALLY want to finish my early VF-1 Tamiya Tomcat.

Just place order for all od them ! When Hornet/Super Hornet at war series ? :naughty:

Thank you! As for F/A-18E/F - have you seen 48069, 48076, 48078, 48081? Had a different naming system for the Rhinos, but many of them were combat jets. Also see almost any Rhino / squadron sheet - VFA-11, 14, 32, 103, 143...

thanks,

brian

I have 48081 and thinking about 48078 but those are for super Bugs.... Any chance for legacy Hornet ?

Hi Brian. Any chance to decals (new, reprint or scaled down) for the 1/144 trumpeter kits?

Daniel

I really really wish that would be the case... but I just don't see a market that will validate a print run. Talked to distributors and where they normally buy 150-250 sheets, 1/144 wouldn't yield more than 20-30 sheets. The cost of production would be higher than 1/144 due to the small size and difficulty of printing.

Look at our catalog. We done lots of them. Unfortunately I don't have stock anymore. They are all thru distributors or sold out. 48069 was the last legacy Bug sheet but there have been quite a few.

How about a 1:72 sheet? New tool GWH and Academy kits just around the corner and an excellent FineMolds kits already available, I'm quite certain there's a market for them. Maybe it could also be a joint 1:72/1:144 combo to cut the costs and please all the small scale builders out there? Just a thought.
