Hi everyone,

I have some Mr. Surfacer that over time has thickened.  It is 500, 1000, and 1200 type.  Can I thin it back out with Mr. Color Thinner or Mr. Replenishing Agent?  Is one better than the other for this?

Thanks,

Tom

Thanks for the help.  I was able to thin out the 1000 and 1200 using Mr. Color thinner and they are useable again.  The 500 is pretty solid so I will order some Mr. Replenishing Agent and see how that goes.  I appreciate the advice.

I have had success with Mr Replenishing Agent when it was the consistency of tar!!! The stuff is expensive, but it works!!!!

It will supposedly work on dried out paint. I used it one almost completely dried Mr Surfacer 500, you could barely poke a stick into it. Restored fine.
