BaconRaygun
As the title suggests, does anybody have a resource for a blueprint or line drawings of a a Lockheed Model 10E? Or perhaps a detailed set of photos? Stupid me only took 3 photos when I visited The Museum of Flight in Seattle. They have a beautifully restored 10E wearing Earhart's tail number. I do plan on checking out the one at the New England Air Museum in CT, but that's a 10A in an airline livery. Honestly not sure what the external differences are aside from engines, windows, navigation device and other obvious differences. I know Earhart's airplane had some extra/different panel lines from repairs done after she wrecked the thing in Hawaii. My intention is to build it as it was when she embarked on her last voyage. I picked up the Williams bros kit, and yeh, it's gonna be a bear of a kit, but I have a soft spot for this aircraft and I'm gonna give it a go. It will need all new panel lines and rivets as what I see in the box appears to be completely fictional. Any help is greatly appreciated. -Igor
