AlienFrogModeller
Evening, Looking to get the gouge on this kit. BTW When did the RAAF get the Charlie version? Are they for sale..? Cheers
AndrewPerren
RAAF has never operated C version. Much upgraded A/B versions only. I haven’t built the HB offering but I believe it’s still the poor copy of the Hasegawa kit with newer decals. If the differences between A and C versions are important to you then it’s probably not your best choice.

Keroburner89
Exactly the RAAF Hornets are arguably the most advanced A's around... The tails will be wrong and I'm fairly certain the HB C model doesn't have the required ejection seat, IFF antennas et al. The Kinetic A/B will be the best bet. Alternatively, the old faithful Hasegawa with the M sprue should do you wonders...
Keroburner89
Oh and an SJU-5/6 for the Kinetic kit too... From memory they feature the later square head rested SJU-17s only which is also wrong for our Classic Hornets Edited December 28, 2018 by Keroburner89
