After the recce-bomber MiG-25R/RB family (link & link) and interceptor MiG-25PD (link), ICM is to release in Q4 2019 a 1/48th SEAD MiG-25BM "Foxbat-F" kit - ref. 48905

As soon as I bought the Cold War Studio Mig-25 BM conversion, I knew ICM would release the version too. 😉

You never know.

The 2019 ICM programme in 1/48th scale. No trace of Su-15 nor MiG-25PU/RU.

Too funny! I was helping my friend with trying to track down colors for the camo version as he bought the Cold War Studio conversion. C'est la vie!
Great news, now I can just bypass right to the kit.
I know this post is about the MiG-25. But, A/B-26's!! Oh happy happy dance!
Thanks for the reporting Homebe!

I wish it was a B-26 Marauder instead of an Invader.

I’m fantastically happy it’s a Douglas Invader!

Also desperately wanting ICM to do a 1/48 Su-15 Flagon.

Three basic types — 15, 15TM and 15UM — with two types of radome. Would be good for three, possibly four boxings, and would be snapped up for reboxing by Revell and Hasegawa.

Go on, you know you really want to!

Then scale it up, along with the Foxbat, to 1/32 scale. Oh yeah, baby!

"This particular kit is the very first attempt of ICM to release MiG-24BM plastic kit in 1:48 scale into the market"

That sounds too funny! :))

So how many "attempts" do they think they'll need? Bookmakers to the fore!

Cheers

J

I would prefer an Su-7 family over the Su-15 personally.   Very neglected aircraft that was used worldwide.

BM was such an interesting modification, looking forward to them eventually releasing 1/72 one.

That’s some seriously cool box art.   Always thought the BM was an interesting aircraft.   I recall reading that when the Berlin Wall came down, the BM’s were immediately redeployed back to the USSR to keep them away from western visitors to E Germany.

I've already got the CWS BM conversion set. I think a camouflaged Mig-25 with BIG missiles is cool looking
