jonbryon
Here is my latest and final build for 2018: Hasegawa's 1/48 F-40E Warhawk in Brazilian markings from 1953. The decals are by FCM and are absolutely terrible. The paint is Mr Color 8 Silver. A full build article is at https://jonbryon.com/hasegawa-1-48-curtiss-f-40e-warhawk/. I am aware the area behind the rear canopy should probably be silver. Comments welcome and thanks for looking. Jon
Whiskey
Checked it out on your website Jon (pics here are still going funky) but I gotta say that's one helluva aluminum beauty you've built! Cranking out amazing models as usual so keep up the good work!
Rodney
Despite the decal challenge, the finished model is very nice. I like the subtle weathering. Rodney
jefropas
Very nice Jon! BTW, FCM now uses Microscale for printing, so things are a lot better....the P-40 decal sheet must've been from their original printer...that silver is amazing! Jeff
Enrywar67
Very good!
ChernayaAkula
Nice one! Love the subtle weathering. Used, but not abused.

Which ever way the painting standard went the was probably at least one airframe which violated it for whatever reason or combination thereof. P-40 looks good in that livery.
