What are your top 5 dream model kits?

Recommended Posts

The Shizouka Hobby Show, so far, doesn't provide much hope for any aircraft related kits.  Maybe better news later???  Wish someone would produce a Northrop N-3PB.

And a M-3 Stuart Tank in 48th scale, too!!

Too bad I'm not into Transformers!!  BIG for such at this show!!

Another older thread but I'd like to add:

Since Tamiya has now come out with a new tool 1/48 P-38, and I don't need to include that...I'd like to see:

Tamiya 1/32 F-86

Tamiya 1/48 B-58

Eduard 1/48 SU-17

Eduard 1/48 YAK-3

1/48 or 1/32 ultra detailed Apollo Command/Service and Lunar Modules by anybody, but preferably one of the modeling 'big guns'

1:48 and In no particular order....

Lockheed Model 10 Electra

SR-71/A-12 family (or at least just a well done SR-71)

Kamov Ka-50/52

SU-34 (GWH, to go with my SU-35)

Avro Vulcan

An Electra!!!! Count me in for two!! Still I'd give most anything for a Lockheed Hudson, and a big scale Beechcraft Traveler.

1/48 Tamiya F-16B/D

1/144 B-52 series same quality as the Academy B-1 1/144

1/48 A-10 Tamiya/GWH

1/48 F-111 series Tamiya/GWH

1/72 AC/MH-130H/J’s

1/48 HH-60 Pavehawk

Sorry had to do 6 but it’s my only list, the easiest one would be a 2 holer Tamiya F-16. Why oh why can they just not do it?

Chicken!

No, not chicken, just a little realism setting in.  I find myself buying copies of many kits that I have already,  if only to build them better from the lessons I have learned and to apply different markings.  I already have a stash that I will never get through. So I  don't need any new kits at the moment and there is nothing i can't live without.  And hey, can I help it if Miss Universe deigned to marry me? 😎

Great outlook on life and reality.

Since it a "wish list" here are mine.

1/48 DHC-1 Chipmunk (Airfix would make a killing on this one)

1/48 Fuji T-1 (Tamiya or Hasegawa)

1/48 DHC-6 Twin Otter (Injection kit with short and long noses and choice of wheels or floats)

1/48 Lockheed XF-90 (it's a wish list right)

1/48 Hughes XF-11 (even bigger wish)

I don't care who makes them as long as they are better than what is available currently if any, all 1/48th.

1.  Republic P-43

2.  Curtiss P-36

3.  North American X-15

4.  Grumman F11F

5.  Wright Flyer
