1/72 Yukon

A new 1/48 CF-100 Canuck

1/48 Cyclone

Yes to the chipmunk and two yeses to the Canuck. The Hobbycraft is so disappointing.

I would really like to see a mainstream manufacturer tackle the Firefly mk V in 1/48 and 1/72.

The Special Hobby kits build up nicely, but they're a chore.

A Bristol Beaufort in 1/48

I'd be very happy if Airfix did a 1/48 Hurricane IIc and d

A 1/48 and 1/72 Battle I

Since it a "wish list" here are mine.

1/48 DHC-1 Chipmunk (Airfix would make a killing on this one)

1/48 Fuji T-1 (Tamiya or Hasegawa)

1/48 DHC-6 Twin Otter (Injection kit with short and long noses and choice of wheels or floats)

1/48 Lockheed XF-90 (it's a wish list right)

1/48 Hughes XF-11 (even bigger wish)

Looking back at this, at least one of my wishes has come true.

de Havilland Chipmunk T.10, Airfix A04105 (2021) (scalemates.com)

These threads are fun once in a while. It is a great time to be an aircraft modeller, lots of  long neglected subjects are being kitted. In a perfect world, I would love to see the following as modern new tool kits, 90s Hasegawa quality or better

1/48 F-86H

1/48 Blackbird family

1/144 C-133

1/48 A-26K

1/48 thin wing RF-4B

It is not my dream kit, but I really think the time is right for a new 1/48 B-17 ... Ultra super detailed like a Zoukie Mura kit.

I also think it might be a good time for an all new tool 1/32  Phantom family.

And nearly 3 years later ... many of my wishes came true!

Revell is close to releasing a 1/48 SR-71

Roden released a 1/144th C-133

The B-26K  has been released by ICM, it just has not made it to the US yet

I am not too optimistic for the others. I have what I need to build a thin wing RF-4B, but I know the F-86H would be a hard sell to make a case to go through the expense to develop and tool.

In the automotive world, word has leaked AMT is finally going to re-issue the 1978 Bronco, one kit I have been waiting forever for.  I just wish the B-26K would get to my favorite US retailers.
