Thunder over Michigan 2019, Aug 3 & 4

This year's Thunder over Michigan show is starting to shape up well with a number of aircraft announced already.

 

 The theme is Corsair Crazy, and as can be guessed, the theme aircraft is the F4U Corsair

 

There are currently 13 Corsairs confirmed

2 UH-1H's from the Army Aviation Heritage Foundation added...they usually sell rides and make a pass or two during the show.

 

 the Vintage Wings of Canada FG-1D Corsair added. That makes 12!!

a second TBM-3E has been added to the show, and the CT-133 has been upgraded to a full aerobatic demo!!

Jon French's F4U-5NL has been added,...that makes 13!

 

 as well, 2 F-5E Tiger II from the U.S. Marines have been to added to the static lineup!

P-51D Sierra Sue II and the P-8 have been cancelled.

 

 the 4 USAF T-6II's, however, are rumoured to be flying in the show.
