Hi All,

Does anyone know if the Ophir LOROP pod exists in 1/72 scale?

Sorry I can't answer your question but  I just wanted to say that your picture is interesting and would make a good modelling project:  A single seat F-15 with CFTs, armed with Pythons, AIM-7s(?) as well as the recce pod.

I was toying with the idea of modifying the LOROP pod included in the 1/72 Hasegawa RF-4E combo

Simply an interested bystander, so I started some Googling.

The pod from the OP is the Ophir. And from the Isracast example and few pictures, you could scratch build one from a 600 gal tank and add the slab sides (milliput and styrene) and use black decal for the window. In 1/72, it should look the part nicely.
