jonbryon
I'd like to get a turn table to assist with painting and I see Tamiya do one. My question is, can it be clamped in some way so it doesn't rotate when you don't want it to? Does anyone know of any turn tables with such a feature? Thanks Jon
Bob Beary
You could probably put some sort of wedge between the table and base it turns on. Or prop it up on some supports such as pieces of wood. Bob
A-10 LOADER
Go to the store and get yourself a " lazy Susan ". You'll find them in the kitchen department of stores. What I did was cut myself a 18" circle, out of 3/4" white melamine and, I lay this on top of the lazy Susan and spin it with your hand as you need to. Steve
chukw
You can simply wrap a bit of tape, any kind, around the Tamiya turntable to stabilize it if you so desire.
dnl42
Like Steve, I just got a lazy Susan from the HW store. I have a small box atop it to lift the subject. Just leaning something against the lazy Susan, like a block of wood or a stray tool, is sufficient to prevent it from spinning.
