Steven H. McLain
I am building Round2s/Ertls 1/25, Int'l Scout II. I used to have one of these trucks and they were great in snow and off-road. My old Scout II was painted DuPont 6787 Concord Blue. Does anybody know how to get this color or come very close to it? Thank You
Spectre711
Might want to see if Zero Paints has it. https://www.zero-paints.com/index.html
Kurt H.
One approach for getting the correct color for automotive subjects is to use touch up paint. It can get a little pricey, but it may be worth it depending on how important the model is to you. I have had good luck with the following companies: http://www.automotivetouchup.com/ https://www.paintscratch.com/ for older cars, they do not always have all the colors, but it is a good place to start. I have used MCW in the past, if they have your color, they are a great choice. https://mcwfinishes.com/ If all the above do not have your color, then you can try a local automotive paint supply place, or https://tcpglobal.com/ I have never gone that route, so I have no guidance on how to work with them.
