midnightprowler
Getting this in a trade. Anyone know anything about the kit and the aircraft? It is a UPC Martin MB2 bomber.
southwestforests
It is a vintage kit which dates back to early to mid 1960s and has been re-released by a couple different companies. It was/is a decent model for the era. And it offers a lot of opportunity to scratchbuild some cockpit details! 😄 You will want some reference material about the real deal to use as a detail guide during your build. After that, I'd have to search the web for info on the kit.
RKic
I don't know the kit, but the mb-2 is a pretty bitchin aircraft. And 60s era biplane kits tend to be very buildable. Fun scratch-building project too.
USAFAmmovet91
ITC Model Craft first released this kit in 1958/59. Over the years it was re-released by several other companies (Kleeware, Ringo Toy Corp, Marusan, UPC, Glencoe). It is a 1/74 or 1/75 scale kit. Only available molding of this aircraft that I am aware of. A shame really. This was one of the first successful home-grown American bombers.
pauly boy
I had that kit back in 1967. I was 10 years old. I thought it was the coolest kit ever. I had my sisters husband help me build it because he built car models and painted them even so obviously he had superior talents. It's memory's like this that make me smile!!
