german
Hi All... Im not too much into airliners but i just got a Revell 1/144 B777-300ER and im wondering how hard it will be to convert it to a B777F.... I do know that the fuselage is shorter for the -200 from which the 777F comes from but im not really sure if the engines included in the Revell kit are usefull to model the Fedex Panda Express 777 or if they need to be changed.... Im getting the decals now from Nazca-decals and they should be arriving next week.... is there any other change apart from the fuselage mod, windows (and with my luck, probably the engines) needed to make the 200F from the 300ER??? Thanks! German Edited February 20, 2019 by german
Trojan Thunder
German, The only changes you will have to make to make the Revell kit to make the 777-200F is to shorten the fuselage and fill the cabin windows. Engines on the 777F are GE90-110B1L and those in the kit are GE90-115B, these engines have the same external dimensions according to WIki. Good luck with the chop! jester292
Landing gear has a visible difference as well. There is a forward brace from the main strut to the forward bogey on the 300ER that isn’t on the LRF.
