delayar
Hi! Already finished last November, i only now found time to take pictures. It is a model of the demo jet of the Royal Netherland Air Force, as it flew in 2013, flown by capt. Stefan "Stitch" Hutten. The WIP thread is here: As a basis, I used the Tamiya Thunderbirds kit. To convert it into an A(M) model, i used the KASL set, which fitted fantastic. Only the tip of the vertical tail had to be made into an A tail, because KASL had a C shaped tip. Other aftermarket accessoires: Tamiya detail set (pitot tube, AOA probes, stiffener plates) Aires exhaust KT Model Resin Works Smokewinders Master Models static dischargers And of course decals from Syhart. The decals for Capt. Huttens helmet are self made. I used the piants from Mr. Paint, which are made specifically for this jet. The lighter orange is a two layer paint, the first providing the orange base color, the second adds the metallic sparkle. to be continued...

Falconxlvi
Wow! Excellent build 👍🏻 That has to be one of the coolest color schemes ever applied to a fighter jet.

BastianD
Orange is the new black! Although it's a shame she's not flying anymore, I hope to see this striking bird back in these colours for demos, even when the F-35's have arrived in Holland. Amazing result! According to F-16.net, the airframe is still flying. However, since 2014 it wears the standard grey paint scheme. The F-16 solo display team flew their last display in 2014 and was disbanded at the end of 2018 😞 Cheers, Markus
