jester292
Looking for best references regarding Fw 190s, Bf 109s and Bf 110s. Books available? Online sites? Thanks for any help. I’m very inexperienced regarding these subjects. Edited March 6, 2019 by jester292
peter havriluk
This is one of those questions which are asked of two people and which get four different answers. Start somewhere, maybe with the Squadron/Signal 'in action' or 'walkaround' books. There's hundreds of choices.
breadneck
When it comes to such popular species, some times you can find a book that will cater for the specific squadron or even subject matter. If you`re just looking for general information on these types go buy a new book shelf first. Only god knows how many you`ll end up with once you`re done buying the lot. What do you mean by reference? Again with such popular types it would be easier if you chose a subject and gathered info on that specific aircraft. Decal manufacturers have a great many choices so man up and commit to one or two of them. A simple paint scheme can prove a very motivational piece of paper 😉 Edited March 8, 2019 by breadneck

Problem is they did three volumes, and they appear to be out of print. Another I like is from a French publisher called Histore (sp). For the TA152, I've found nothing better than the one by Schiffer (sp?). Have not looked much into the ME110 series, so I'll defer to someone else. For the BF109f thru K, the SAM book seems very good. I need some for earlier marks though Glt
Cool Hand
In case you have not come across it yet, the FalkeEins Luftwaffe blog has fantastic reference material. http://falkeeins.blogspot.com/
dmk0210
I have an FW-190 on deck, so I'm in the data collection phase. Here are some resources I found on the web: http://fw190.hobbyvista.com/ https://www.ipmsstockholm.org/magazine/2004/11/stuff_eng_fw190_01.htm https://www.ipmsstockholm.org/magazine/2004/08/stuff_eng_profile_fw190a4.htm http://thirdreichcolorpictures.blogspot.com/2010/01/focke-wulf-fw-190.html I also recently bought a used copy of this book: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1612004555/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Edited March 13, 2019 by dmk0210
Sleepy
There have probably been as many books published on the Bf109 as there were Bf109s built.
