Hoops
Good Evening, I wanted to know if there is a good option out there for a Aero 1C Drop Tank in 1/72 scale? I've got a plenty of 300 Gal 1Ds from various other kits, but I don't seem to have any 150 Gal 1Cs. The drop tank will go on the centerline of an OV-10. The Academy kit has the some drop tanks, but they are not the right type, and the shape is pretty questionable. Thank you for your inputs! Cheers, Hoops
GW8345
Attack Squadron made some a few years ago, you might be able to find them on Ebay.
Tomcat Trebor
Hoops, ordered mine from Freightdog Models here in the UK https://www.freightdogmodels.co.uk/military-products/military-aircraft-conversions/1-72-scale/freightdog-models/freightdog-1-72-douglas-skyhawk-150-gal-drop-tanks.html Robert
Murph
A second vote for the Freightdog tanks; they are very nicely done. Regards, Murph
Hoops
Thank you all very much for the responses. Seeing that the Freightdog drop tanks are available right now, that's what I'll go for. Brengun did purchase all of the masters from Attack Squadron when they got out of the resin business, so I think it's only a matter of time before they are re-released. There is no know when, unfortunately. Cheers! Hoops
