Thank you.  I used a toothpick and scratched it down to the underlying Alclad Aluminum paint on the wingroots.  I used MIG Pigments to simulate dirt on the tire and then accentuated each bolt on the rim and landing gear legs with metallic enamels.

Great techniques. I've been working on using 1 mm liquid chrome pens to simulate paint chips. I always wondered how MIG products held up. Have you ever used MIG paints?

I haven’t used their paints before.  I use Mission Models and Tamiya Acrylics and Gunze Lacquers primarily.  I just use MIG’s washes and weathering products - they are great!
