Bo105flyer
Anybody pick up the recent released Hasegawa 1/72 B-47E with the 3D printed RATO Bottles kit? Sprue Brothers has them in stock. Will this spark a reprint of the Caracal B-47 sheet? Steve Sliger Greenwell Springs, LA
AD-4N
I’d buy a 1/144 sheet in a heartbeat. Got the 1/72 version already.

Jetdog
Another vote for a 1/144 B-47 sheet!

Dutch
I'll pile on to the 1/144 request list.
KursadA
A 1/72 reprint will likely not happen before 2026 but I am working on the 1/144 version.

Spruemeister
I think its an impressive piece. Not without cleanup, certainly. But it is a welcome additional feature to the kit. I look forward to mounting it on a build in the future. My original Fisher Models resin rack now isn't so threatened. Rick L.
Spruemeister
Does still need the stencil markings for the bottles. 😉 Rick L.

That and the Rascal pylon too. I wish there were some clear photos or drawings somewhere - other than the rusty drawer at National Archives where they have lived most of their lives. fessSto
That's a good looking horse collar rack. Motivation to finish my old Hasegawa kit.

Paul Boyer
I saw all of the Steve Canyon series on the original TV broadcasts, and I vividly remember that episode. Several years ago, I bought the excellent box set of DVDs of the series, and yep, that episode was just as I remembered it. Here's my salute to the Stratojet. Obviously the nearly 60-year-old Hasegawa kit with Caracal decals. I cheated a bit and added the SAC badge and unit badge despite the instructions.

Nicely done Paul, I'd like to build mine in a similar scheme. Don't have the Caracal sheet at the moment though. With regards to Steve Canyon, I only came across the series last year on one the free streaming services here in Oz. Needless to say I have seen all the episodes now and was amazed at the access to so many different types during the filming.

Paul Boyer
Curt, I inserted a Pavla cockpit interior but you still can't see much of it. The kit does not fit well at all so there was a lot of filling and sanding. I'm on a trip right now and can't look through my leftovers, and I can't remember if I've already moved the remaining decal sheet to another builder or not.
Spruemeister
How much of a project was it to put the Pavla cockpit in? I played with one for a few minutes and it didn’t exactly behave. I’m sure I can get it eventually, but just curious if there are secrets. Rick L.
Paul Boyer
It'll fit, but you gotta carve out a lot of kit stuff to make room. Don't recall exactly how much or where.
fessSto
Wish I would have snagged one of those Pavla kits before they went OOP. The overall shape of the Hasegawa kit isn't bad but the cockpit and bomb bay are sorely lacking. We could really use some updates for both of those areas of the kit. Curt, Have you looked into robbing the Academy KC-97L boxing? You could build it as G then. Or better yet, the Cobra Company engine upgrades? Lone Star Models does them now.
