dann
Does send a decal the the USPS by flat rate international priority mail envelope include tracking or there’s an extra fee for tracking? thanks
Mstor
If its priority mail then it should include tracking. More info should be on the USPS website. Whether said tracking will work in the destination country is another question altogether.

Every USPS package I send internationally has a tracking number. Here's just one recent 1st class parcel example to England: https://m.usps.com/m/TrackConfirmAction_detail?tLabels=LZ493738888US Edited May 2, 2019 by ziggyfoos Fix link
lockheed2004
Your USPS tracking number will definitely work until the parcel leaves the USA. For many countries, the same number can be tracked to the final destination (Canada, France, England, Australia, Germany are ones I've sent to previously). They will generally tell you they can't guarantee tracking once it clears US Customs.

That is according to this webpage (click on footnote number 4 in the Features section): https://www.usps.com/international/priority-mail-international.htm Edited May 2, 2019 by Mstor

dann
I just send a decal to the UK using their flat rate envelope at another usps location. I was surprised that tracking was included. i went to another usps location to mail same decal and was told tracking was not offered. these employees do not receive the same training wasted my gas money
Helmsman
Some international shipments can also be tracked by customs declaration number which is very similar to standard one.

Some pages said it was offered and others not. They may be in the middle of making changes to their policies. Edited May 4, 2019 by Mstor
CWILL1117
Doesn’t it cost less to just use your own envelope? I had to ship internationally yesterday, and while I saw those flat rates, they were upwards of $30. I was selling a clear sprue and I know it doesn’t particularly weigh a lot...but with my own box it only costed $14.25. After filling out the customs USPS gave me a tracking number. dann
I tried to mail a decal international priority. the lady at the counter said it will cost me more to send it as is or use their flat rate priority envelope which is less

Unless you absolutely need to get it there in 6-10 days (the amount of time sited by USPS site), you'd be better off using first class. It doesn't offer tracking (that I could see), but does offer delivery confirmation, and it is MUCH cheaper.
