jesTer
This is a USAF RF-4C in the markings of 64-1047 from the 106th Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron (TRS) deployed during Operation Desert Shield. 64-1047 would be the ’top scorer’ of 106th TRS, flying more missions than any other RF-4C during this period. The kit is a Fujimi with donor pylons and stores from other kits to 'modernize' it. This was surprisingly, a bear to build that needed 'basic modeling skills'. Definitely not my best work but I'm glad I can finish it. More pics and a build log @ https://www.rocketpunch.biz/completed-fujimi-72-rf4c/ All comments welcome! I didn't do anything real fancy with the paintwork, just that I made my paint translucent so the layer below shows through easier. I made a post about it here > https://www.rocketpunch.biz/wip-fujimi-rf4c-4/
