1/144 C-130 pinnochio nose?

I may not be using the right terminology, but does anyone make a 1/144 pinnochio nose for the Academy or any ohter 1/144 C-130? I'd like to build the NASA Earth Survey C-130. Thanks.

You may have better luck asking for a trashed CF-104 kit. When I did my 1/48 Starfighter nosed Dakota, ripped the nose off a trashed kit and Bobs your uncle.

That nose was unique to that one airplane, so I'd just break out the epoxy putty and do it the old fashioned way.  Not difficult at all.

Try to find as many photos as you can, specifically profile shots for the best way to judge the size and dimensions.  Try the NASA website and type in "NC-130B" or "Earth Survey."  NASA should have some very nice large format photos available.  Instead of just adding putty, why not glue a few strips of plastic to the nose to get the general shape first, then putty, file, sand, re-putty, re-file, re-sand, putty some more, then sand some more and finally get to the correct shape?  Just kidding.  Sounds like a neat project.  Are you using the Draw Decal markings?  Keep us posted with your progress please.  R/ Dutch
