Airfix USAAF bomber re-supply set 1/72 colors

Just started assembly/painting.  There's a good bit of canvas showing, vehicle roofs, seat upholstery.  

 

Anybody have a suggestion as to paint color for the fabric?  Tamiya offers a 'dark yellow' that might work.  Any suggestions?

I use Tamiya XF-55 Deck Tan for a canvas/Khaki color.

Hi,

 

I looked at some period colour photographs and I believe the canvas top on things like a Willy's jeep was the same olive drab as the vehicle itself.

You might go for the "sun-bleached" theory, but if you want an authentic colour, I'd only add a very small drop of something like the deck tan to the olive drab. From the pictures, it seems to me they kept their colour quite well in 1943-45.
