KursadA
The first C-9 sheet was a success, so here is a second one: this one will have USMC, NASA and presidential aircraft. Edited August 30, 2019 by KursadA
Gator52
Sounds great! Jonah
Dutch
Oorah! Better start building a few C-9s production line style. Wasn't CD144022 supposed to be the C-131 sheet for the Roden kit? Edited August 29, 2019 by Dutch
KursadA
You're right - it was a typo. Corrected it to CD144023.
Dutch
Kursad, Red/Gold cheatline or subdued gray for the USMC C-9B? Just curious. R/ Dutch
KursadA
Both if I can fit it on the sheet

Awesome! Looks like I need to get another Airfix DC-9 kit.
Dutch
I have four Airfix DC-9s on the production line right now. I have a fifth still in shrink wrap that I think I will save for a VC-9C. I had planned on making one each: USAF C-9A & USN C-9B; and two USMC C-9Bs: one in hi-viz and one in lo-viz. But now I am thinking I may forgo the lo-viz USMC C-9B for the new NASA C-9B Vomit Comet. Way to step up my model production, Kursad!
Dutch
Making progress! Four sets of wings glued and seams puttied. Four fuselages assembled with small nose weight and all windows and hatches puttied. Working on four pairs of engines now.
Dutch
More progress last night. Any news on Part Deux?
KursadA
Second C-9 sheet is almost done - need to do some more work on the presidential jet and I will share profiles.
Dutch
Okay, so now I am hoping for a release in May/Jun 2020?
Dutch
Kursad, Have you finalized the design for this sheet yet? I have another suggestion for markings: FAA DC-9-15 N119 / N28 K/r, Dutch Interim FAA scheme. And Final FAA scheme. Edited June 7, 2020 by Dutch
Dutch
Here are the earlier markings as N119.
Dutch
Later it flew for the US Marshalls Service as N813TL. Edited June 7, 2020 by Dutch
Dutch
Kursad. Sorry. I just realized that this is a C-9 sheet, not a DC-9 sheet, so forget the FAA & DOJ suggestions. K/r. Dutch
