Aircav1980
Hello all, I am building a 1/32 F/A-18F Super Hornet. I am doing the 75th Anniversary Jolly Rogers scheme. I have been told they are painted in a TPS or Tactical Paint Scheme. I am being told they start out as two separate colors that fade together with time. My question is what specific colors do I use, and where on the jet do the colors go? Does anyone have any tips on how to apply this scheme? Is there a definite demarkation ect... I have done a lot of WWII planes and one Vietnam area Phantom but this is my first modern jet. I have looked all over for this info but cannot find specific answers. Thanks in advance. picknpluck
Scroll down the page a bit for this thread about Hornet weathering pics. There’s a ton of great references. Your specific jet is probably in there somewhere.
Skull Leader
any decal sheet you buy should have proper painting instructions with it.
