Happy with the look so far but, there is more to do. It's always nice to unmask the canopy and see no issues. Thanks to everyone who is following along. A-10 LOADER Posted June 25, 2021 Author Share Posted June 25, 2021 Wrapped up the paintwork, for the most part, on the Shadow yesterday. I'm told these jets were heavily tasked and often very weathered. I have several pics, saved on my computer, that I used as references for my paintwork. At this point I can start hand painting some of the small details and, getting the landing gear and doors on. Thanks for looking and, enjoy the pics. With the much cooler temps and less humid conditions, I managed to get the panels behind the cockpit painted on the Shadow. I still need to paint the sensor operator's observation windows ( just aft of the jets numbers ) on both jets. They both are slowly getting there and I'm happy with how they are coming along. After looking at my reference pics I'm probably gonna spray a flat coat over those rear canopies.
