A-10 LOADER
After posting my ES-3A on a couple of pages on Facebook, I was contacted by a former maintainer who did many buddy store ( ARS pod ) removals and installs. He told me that when a jet is configured with a buddy store they had to change the anti-collision lights, on top of the tail and on the belly, from red to blue. Since mine are painted red, I'll be swapping out the ARS pod for another fuel tank. Luckily, I got the Viking lights correct. I was wondering while doing my research why I saw pics of jets with the different colored lights, now I know. I figured others would like to know as well to keep their build accurate. A-10 LOADER
Work continues on the Viking's intakes. I've got them primed, painted, gloss coated, decals on and, gloss coated again to seal in the decals. I also assembled another fuel tank for the Shadow which is at the same stage as the Viking's intakes. Hopefully this week sometime I'll have something worth posting pics of. A-10 LOADER
Wrapped up the S-3B intakes this afternoon, now I can start getting things glued to the bottom of the wings. I also finished up the other fuel tank for the ES-3A that will replace the buddy store. Steve
A-10 LOADER
Some final pics of the underside of the Viking before she gets flipped over on her gear and I start assembling the wings. Hopefully things go as well as they did on the Shadow. Steve
A-10 LOADER
And some shots of the topside before the wings get in the way. I should have her wrapped up this week sometime. Thanks to all who are still following this build. Steve

A-10 LOADER
The "War Hoover" is finished and pics are up in The Display Case. Thanks to everyone who followed along on another lengthy build(s) of mine. Enjoy the pics. Since the ES-3A's tail and belly light are red, I removed the buddy story from the port side wing pylon and, added a fuel tank. Steve
