iaf-man
Have 2 AIM 1/72 kits, one of each.the wings on the 200 seem longer and wider(chordwise),according to Wiki they should be the same
Trojan Thunder
I thought the only difference externally between the -200 and -300 was the extended upper deck, so the wings would be the same as Wiki alludes to. The -400 changed with a new wing body fairing and the wing tip fences as well as ather minor changes. Edited February 8, 2020 by Trojan Thunder
AV O
A very interesting conversation : https://www.airliners.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1339351 Here's a late -200F with the -400 Wing to Body fairing in her two liveries : https://www.jetphotos.com/photo/7905748 https://www.jetphotos.com/photo/8843383 About the -400 Wing Root fitting (Post #10) : https://www.airliners.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=769177 https://www.airliners.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=411603&p=5320111 However, one thing can be added. The -400 (not the D type though - D for Domestic in use on the Japanese network - ) have a longer wing besides the winglet extension. This can be spotted when you look at their extremity between the outboard aileron and the winglet. The outboard leading edge slats have 6 elements instead of 5 on the older types. http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index.php?/topic/231458-hasegawa-1200th/&tab=comments#comment-2209217 B-747-400D (ANA Marine Jumbo) B-747-400 B-747-300 / 200SUD More : https://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/28962-airliners-jumbo-landing/ https://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234974227-sca-back-home/ Edited July 10, 2020 by AV O
