A-7E Corsair - VA-113 Stingers 1972 - In-flight twin build - 1/48 Hasegawa

Recommended Posts

Hi my contribution to the Display Case -- at last : )   Not perfect but here they are anyway.  Missing crew names as I'm still working on home-printed decals for those.  But posting these here now anyway as that will probably be well off into the future.  And my years are aeons so that may never be if I don't post them now.   I don't have a good photography setup but this is the best I can do with the better lighting on an area of the workbench.

And not to cause confusion but I might as well showcase my 32nd scale cockpit efforts  -- as this A-7E will never see the light of day:

Outstanding!! They look pretty darn perfect from where I am standing! I think you got the weathering down gorgeously!

Beautiful. Between those two, they are hauling a world of hurt.

Freaking sweet!  I love this display and admire the commitment it took to pull it off.  The loadouts on those birds are seriously impressive.  Great job!

Thanks for your kind comments, guys!  : )  Hi smokeriderdon, there was so much to fix on the 1/32, I just gave up 😞

All You need now is some sky background and it'll look 100% real! Very nice work.

Thaddeus, Calum thanks!  : )   Was hoping to take some sky-backdrop pics like you guys suggested but I couldn't get lucky with the weather.   Hey Calum, very fine weathering work on your F-15! : )

This build rocks on so many levels, great job!

So this might be kind of a weird question, but would you mind if I made a painting based off this build? Its been a while since I painted an aviation subject and this build really inspired me to get back to it.

PM me if you have any questions.

Hello! I am a new member on ARC, although I have been reading it for quite a while. I red the whole built and you have done an awesome work on one of my best aircrafts, a big bravo! I intend to do one A-7E Stingers but in 1:72 scale, a Fujimi one. Yours is the reference!
