Napalmakita
Looking for these to hang on a harrier I'm doing for 311 ...48ers have the APKWS I think, but I'm coming up empty on the 54's. Is there a Hase weapons set that has them? Maybe someone here can hook me up with a trade or $ works too. Appreciate it
Mstor
Meng's SPS-045 U.S. Satellite-Guided Bombs set has two GBU-54s. Attack Squadron used to make them but they aren't in business anymore.

Falconxlvi
Alternatively, buy a set of Eduard GBU-38s, flatten the very tip of the DSU-33, drill a small hole, fill with clear...whammo, you’ve got a GBU-38.

Ahh, I figured they were similar enough that there would be a hack. Thanks for the tip

Thanks for the tip Exactly the same from a modelers perspective minus the front. Remember to paint the seeker section black vice off-white for the -

Falconxlvi
I don’t know any former Harrier pilots flying Vipers, but it sounds like he’s had a great career! I’ve been out since 2016.

Dave Roof
Sorry, but making a GBU-54 from a GBU-38 is a lot more involved than changing the nose of the DSU-33. The GBU-54 has a conduit running the length of the bomb on the bottom, as well as three steel bands which secure it to the warhead.

Still possible to modify the Eduard -38s. 🤦🏼♂️😂 Edited December 15, 2019 by Falconxlvi

Grindcore
Just waiting for Eduard to come out with them, they've done everything else it seems.

They are too busy for such things. Why they should make such unnecessary resins like GBU-54 or GBU-31, if they are busy to make new versions of PEs for Tamiya F-16, or ejection seats for F-14D AMK, or another important bombs with-no-name for Vietnam era. Be reasonable. 🙂
Napalmakita
I don't know much about them, but I wonder if this would be a great use for a 3D printer..
