Drifterdon Posted December 20, 2019 Share Posted December 20, 2019 Is anyone aware of a resin upgrade for the gun troughs for the 1/48 Special Hobby F-86K kit? I have a couple of these kits and am really disappointed with how shallow and undefined the gun troughs are. Before I start to drill them out I wanted to see if there was an aftermarket wizard that had updated these. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
Hubbie Marsten Posted December 20, 2019 Share Posted December 20, 2019 I think there's a set by CMK, IIRC; the one which doesn't bring the air brake wells and doors? If not, you can always get some 2mm plastic tubing (inside diameter) the ones which lollipops are attached to, cut one end a diagonal angle and glue them to the cannon muzzle holes from inside of the gun bay doors, then carefully file the whole assembly.
