Dave Roof
Built this as a gift for a friends son, who is an ADCC at Dover. Found out after it was too late, the photos he sent weren't of 'his' aircraft, so the serial number is wrong. As for the kit itself, everything went together relatively well except the engines.....major pain in the rear! A lot of clean up was necessary on the flaps as well. The stand was robbed from a Hasegawa 72nd F-35B and the "in flight" part from that kit was attached to the bottom of the C-5. Thankfully, I calculated its position correctly. Decals are Caracal and like any other sheet printed by Cartograf, went on with no problems. Painted with Tamiya XF-53 (didn't have 36173 and this is the closest equivalent), Tamiya gloss and flat. Nothing fancy and not bad for a three day build!

Falconxlvi
I’m not sure which is more impressive- how great the model looks or how organized, clean and tidy your workbench is! Nice job 👍🏻 Steve

Scott Smith
Sweet! Does that stand come with the kit? I still have another Otaki to build, but those flaps......Ohhhh.

aircommando130
That's awesome! I was a C-5 loadmaster from 1975-1989/ C-5A/B at Travis and Altus. That M is so quiet but I do miss the howl of those big TF-39's! Cheers...Ron
