ElectroSoldier
I was just looking over one of my Hasegawa F-111 kits and came to look at the callout diagram for the weapons options for the kit How accurate have you found these to be on your chosen subject? In this particular case the kit is supplied with the Durandal weapons, the callout says they are mounted in 6's on each pylon but the kit only provides enough for 4's over two pylons. which I know is accurate as to an actual carried load, but I also know the weapons delivery profile computer allowed for 6 to be carried. So I as what do you think of them in general? Should they be followed?
martin_sam_2000
I think thats there to show what COULD be carried by the aircraft. What the aircraft actually carried in service/combat varied based on a number of variables. The kit also wont include all the weapons listed, which is why they sold the weapons kits so you could add what you wanted. Sean
