I question whether the decals are actually printed by Cartograf as the BM review says.  All the decal sheet said is “Printed in Italy”.  Cartograf isn’t the only decal printer in Italy, and decals done by them usually have their name on the sheets.

The "c" at the end of the decal sheet number (bottom left of the sheet) identifies a Cartograf sheet in Revell taxonomy I believe

Is this kit available anywhere? (other than the RoG website)

It’s been available from the EU, and particularly the Netherlands, although stock didn’t last very long. Mine is out from delivery from Aviation Megastore. I think Hannants got stock recently as well.

Anyone hear about Gaspatch release plans for the SR-71A designed by Jeffrey Kubiak?

A lot of very time consuming work taking place, which is "cutting" all the tiny trenches and holes into the surfaces to get the panel lines and rivets. It's a big airframe and there are a lot of panels...and we also utilise different sizes and types of rivets. Doing the research and identify all the various panel locations and deciding which rivets to represent or not was one part, but creating the 3D recesses (all taking into account the extraction direction of each part in the mould) is another big job that's been ongoing for a few months, but it's well advanced by now.

Cheers

Glad to know the work is ongoing, I skipped Revell's one knowing about yours, it will surely be worth the wait.
