Slartibartfast
Any duplication with the Aeromaster sheet? Assuming you're targeting the Trumpeter RA-5C...
tony.t
Excellent. Have had an RA-5C in the stash for fifteen years and want to build it! Tony
Stefan buysse
Hi, That's unexpected news, but very good news for me. To me, it is a very interesting aircraft and there seems to have been very little going on for the Vigilante since the Trumpeter kits (1/72 and 1/48) and the couple of sheets that came out for it. This being Caracal, there might even be a 1/72 sheet in the future. The thread title says "A-5" and not "RA-5C". I know of no available mainstream 1/48 A-5 kit. Do you know something we don't, Kursad? Cheers, Stefan.
Dutch
How about some early and late Test A-5/RA-5C Vigilantes? From Kou-Fan Dec 1964. I cannot read the Japanese captions, butI believe that photo 1, 3,4 are RA-5B/C and photo #2 is A-5A. Edited February 2, 2020 by Dutch

Peacemaker
Shame we don't have a kit (a-5a) to put them on.
KursadA
OK, I get it - no need to be too pedantic about what is just a tentative product name. 🙂 Obviously it is going to be a RA-5C sheet. Designed for the Trumpeter 1/48, and eventually the Revell 1/72 kits. Edited February 3, 2020 by KursadA
Peacemaker
It was not a negative sentiment directed at you or your products. Its a genuine shame we don't have a 48th scale A-5A, apart from the very OOP cutting edge conversion kit. I would purchase an A-5A sheet regardless, i'm sure something will be along eventually. fulcrum1
After trying to score and fail to get some OOP decals I'm excited about this, thanks!
jonbryon
There were substantial differences between early and late production Vigilantes. Is the decal sheet going to focus on one or the other or include both? Jon
tony.t
Any further developments? The Trumpeter Vigi decal sheet is very basic and by the time we've filled and smoothed over some of the divots it's going to need some Caracal love, including a bunch of stencil data if possible. Am up for anything attractive from ca.1967-1979 that matches the Trumpy RA-5C configuration Cheers Tony
