Griffin2929
I was wondering if anyone knew the exact FS numbers for the three-tone desert camo scheme applied to one of the B-1A prototypes? It looks pretty similar to a scheme I've seen on some USAF aggressor aircraft but I don't know if it's an exact match. Can anyone fill me in?
ElectroSoldier
34102, 33531, 30117? http://www.colorserver.net/showcolor.asp?fs=34102,33531,30117 Edited February 3, 2020 by ElectroSoldier
Griffin2929
Those look pretty close. I'm sure I could get away with using the Vallejo colors for some of the F-5 aggressor aircraft that they include in one of their air war paint sets as it looks very similar to the camo on the B-1. ElectroSoldier
Are those two colours what they used on the MH-53J during ODS?

11bee
If you are building that particular jet, don’t forget the large fairing on the spine.

You can just make them out in the dark tan portion of the camp, aft of the cockpit windows. IIRC the window framing is also different from the production framing. I can't believe I didn't notice that! That makes the build a lot more complex!

Well then while we're at it the inlet shapes are different between the A & B. Look at some pics and compare.
