dai phan Posted February 21, 2020 Share Posted February 21, 2020 Hello all, The Mig 21F 13 in Iraqi colors that defected to Israel. The story of the defection is worthy of a Hollywood movie. I scratch built the mechanisms to pop up the canopy and the hatch in which they are barely seen on the model. A good presentation of the early Mig 21 variant but not accurate if you compare with 3 views. Trumpeter puts out good subjects but did poor researching in many of their models. dai phan Posted February 21, 2020 Author Share Posted February 21, 2020 I used the Eduard PE wing fences because the kit's offering is far from being accurate ( too low in profile). The brass pitot tube is from a Korean company Su Se Mi that is casted in ONE piece. The best Mig 21 tube in my opinion. There are no PE tiny vanes that you have to put together or fragile resin ones that snap off just be looking at it. Dai Quote Link to post Share on other sites
