martin_sam_2000
I have been making timelapse videos of my builds for the last year or so and posting them to my youtube channel. I am up to 8 videos as of now so I figured it was time to get them posted here. As I add new videos I will post them here. Here is the link to the time lapse playlist: PLAYLIST Feel free to leave feedback good or bad as I would like to make these better if possible. Sean
martin_sam_2000
Just bumping this back to the top. I have been working on at least 2-3 video releases a month and I am looking at expanding my viewership. I have how-to videos, model reviews, aviaiton history videos and some airshow videos from last year, as well as my monthly progress updates and the build time lapse videos. Please take a look, and if you like what you see like and subscribe. Feel free to share the channel to anyone else you think may enjoy them. I have a 3 part P-51 history video coming out soon...going to be about 3 hours long in total..each video about an hour long, I also have 4 more timelapes scheduled for release next week and some more model review videos coming up next month. I am also working on doing some filming at the local aviation museum to continue the aviation history theme. If anyone has any specific content they want to see, please let me know. I am always looking for new ideas, and if there is a specific model you would like to see reviewed or built, let me know and I will try to make it happen! Sean
RKic
Sean, I appreciate what you're trying to do, but two things that would improve your videos are a closer-up view of what you're working on, and maybe a bit more editing. You can probably edit out all the parts where you're just looking for parts or paging through instructions. Really speed up parts where you're just cutting parts from sprue and focus in more on the parts where your actually building/painting. Just my $0.

The issue right now is time, with 3 young kids it would take me weeks to do a single video if I edited every second of it and used multiple speeds. My eventual plan is to get a newer camera for the desk that use the current camera at my paint booth, and as the kids get older I will also have more free time to spend on fine tuning the videos in the manner you mentioned. A few more years and they will all be in school and I will have significantly more time. i am making notes on these ideas and will try them on future videos so I do appreciate the ideas/critisims. thanks! RKic
That's why I appreciate the efforts. Video editing is a massive time suck. But if you make them, they will come (and watch)
