Paul Boyer
Here's the new 1/72 scale Sword T-39 Sabreliner done up in Caracal's brand new Navy T-39B sheet (option 2). Am I first on the block?

Dutch
Paul, Superb build! Very attractive markings. Thank you for sharing and thanks to Kursad for making these colorful options available. Kind regards, Dutch
fessSto
As always, Paul, you do amazing work. I wasn't convinced I wanted to build this kit but you have inspired me. That being said, I'm not so sure my wife likes your inspiration 🤣.
KursadA
It looks absolutely beautiful - not surprisingly the Navy sheet is selling faster than the USAF one (which is almost gone), and I am looking forward to seeing more builds.

Gator52
This one drew heavily from 144004, additionally the wing emblem came from 144016, the Louisiana state outline from 144005, and the anti-glare markings from 144001: Chris Edited April 28 by Gator52

Mike J. Idacavage
Great build, Chris! Anything to watch out for with the kit? I have this in my stash for a future project. Have fun modeling! Mike
Gator52
Nose weight, nose weight, nose weight...go heavy or you will absolutely have to rely on the tail stand provided in the kit. Other than that, I filled the pilot director lights and put Kursad's decals over top, and also filled the engraved windscreen detail and used a decal. Also, I notched the aft end of the ruddervators where they meet the boom to get a better look, and also drill out the end of the boom. Fit of the main landing gear is tricky; trimming off the longitudinal pin makes it easier to maneuver the strut inside the wing. Finally, I trim just a bit off the nose gear axles to get the wheels to fit closer to the strut…nose gear looks too wide OOB to my eye. Here's my other completed -135s, all drawing from 144004: Edited April 29 by Gator52
KursadA
Beautiful Stratotankers, Chris! Thanks for sharing; and even more colorful 144th options are on the way.

Rodewaryer
Slick Tankers sir! Love the use of the tail struts, a legit piece of equipment to round out the function of the display. My wife and I met at a SAC base with B-52G's and Tankers. I was weapons so only worked the BUFF's, but she was an electrician and spent time on both, so I have an interest in them even if I never worked them. She related an interesting anti-thesis story, where a gear lever snafu on a 135 led to the nose gear retracting when power was applied, oops. Tail strut not going to help with that....
