Hi all gents,

taking advantage of the dramatic global situation and of the lockdown here in Italy, I managed to finish my MiG-21Bis.

Is the Zvezda model as per title, with different scratched parts and  some extras.

- Part PEs

- Master pitot and static dischargers

- Eduard Brassin missiles, pylons and wheels ( designed for the Eduard MiG-21 worked pretty well )

- Quickboost air scoops

- SAC metal MLG

- Tally-Ho, Armycast and Eduard ( stencils) for the decals

The model was painted with a combination of Alclad for the metals, MRP for the pit, wheel bays,  camo's belly light blue and uppper grey-green, AK True Colors for the sand and gunze for the dielectrics

Here you can see the WIP.

Unfortunately I've some problems with my digital camera and reverted to the mobile camera instead, hence the strange format of the pics.

Finally, sorry for the dust here and there, but I left the model out of his cabinet for some touch-ups.

Part two

Here some detail shots.

As I said in the WIP,when flipping the model to take the belly pics the canopy fly away so I take the chance to add the last details to the canopy/pit; you can see the last details ( and how actually look the bird) here.

Again,sorry for the dust...

Thanks all guys, I'm really glad than you like my little MiG...

I confess I lose my mojo at some point during the build, probably for the great difficult to had solid ref for the paint, but finally I decided to go with few, but very plausible, compromise or I never will be able to complete the model in this life:rolleyes:
