ChesshireCat Posted April 9, 2020 Share Posted April 9, 2020 Got bored the other night, so I decided to start something new. I went into the storage room and blindly grabbed a kit. It was the Tamiya LRDG truck used in WWII. Have two others that came in the white box, but this is a kit I've had for about ten years. Never been opened. Upon opening it, I said to myself "man there's a lot of parts in this box!" Inside were enough parts to build two trucks! Except that it was missing sprues C & B! there were enough tires for three kits. It also had British infantry plus the LRDG guys complete with the instructions. How this one came about I don't know, and Tom Metzger has been gone for ten years or more. I seem to have this kinda luck with these guys regularly. I have a Horch that has no body somewhere! 109's needing props and spinners that I gave up on. And don't think Trumpeter is any better!
