BillS
I cant find an image of a USAF F-4C in the gray/white scheme with a SUU-23. In the 1965-66 timeframe I wonder what color the pods were painted. Anyone?
achterkirch
Just did a quick search for SUU-23 and came up with a pic of an F-110 (pretty much a loaner F-4B the Air Force used for a bit before they got the F-4C) with the pod slug underneath. Looks to be olive drab. https://mobile.twitter.com/aviation_intel/status/960062169831256064
Finn
Here is a SUU-16 that is set to go onto a F-4: Jari
mrvark
34087 or 34079. Note also that there was a streamlined tail for fitting on the centerline and a blunt tail for the inboard pylons. https://www.dropbox.com/s/cnpllnxhvkexz4b/SUU-23-SamShultz-1059.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/gzy7afz543oghir/suu-23 end caps.jpg?dl=

Whiskey
There's quite a few photos of some Minnesota ANG F-4C's flying intercept missions with SUU-23's. I know they're not 1965-66 timeframe you're looking for but they were in ADC Grey and the pods are grey too. Just throwing that bit in there.
