Jeffrey at Hypersonic Models used to offer a great 1/72 set, but alas, they are sold out ...AND ... unfortunately it looks like Hypersonic is now strictly 1/48 scale judging by the new website. Those tanks are used by many of the early USAF and USN Phantoms, and I'm surprised there's no 1/72 market for them. Gene K

BWDenver
2 hours ago, GeneK said: And for folks who do 3D printing, here. Gene K Well, that's a great example of what a MB Mk.H5 out of a US F-4 does NOT look like. Swing over to: Jet AC ejection seats - Jet Modeling - ARC Discussion Forums The F-4 stuff is about 3/4 down the first page. I have photographs of Mk.H5, Mk.h7 and Mk.H7AF seats as well as lots of -1 illustrations. That looks like a cross between an US Mk.H5 and a Brit Mk.H7 Mk 3. It lacks the Emergency Oxygen "Green Apple" and linkage. And instead puts it just in front of where the service block would go, which is where the emergency Oxygen grab handle is on the Brit seat. and the seat adjustment switch box is in the wrong position... A number of their releases are classed as Limited or One-Off Limited so don't expect they will ever be re-released. I think they only have kept releasing the base EJ and EJkai editions. The entry items make no sense and I finally gave up. Wanted one of the IAF F-4E's. I've ordered from company's in Japan before and never had this problem. And HLJ does not have the IAF bird. I'm in the US, and have been a customer for decades. Never had a problem. They are good, so don't give up. Gene K EDIT: At the bottom of each product page, there is a "Click here for inquiries" link. They are prompt in answering so suggest giving that a try. Edited May 29 by GeneK

The E model is being shipped to Japanese hobby shops now, and the F model after 12 Sep as Craig pointed out above. BUT NOT SO FAST FOR U.S. CUSTOMERS LIKE ME. Our President's "releveling" of the world's economic order has resulted in this as noted by Hobby Search -- "starting August 27 (JST), Japan Post will temporarily suspend acceptance of mail items destined for the United States in line with the measures adopted by other postal operators worldwide". Hopefully my multiple new FineMolds F-4E and F models will be held at Hobby Search and Hobby Link Japan ... until who knows when and for how many more $$. BWDenver
The Brit based paint co, ZEROPAINTS is following the same path... And apparently Canada, They are advising company's if the tariff paperwork or payment is not made correctly, the parcel will be returned. Canadian postal costs have skyrocketed. A Guy in BC sent me a couple of 1/84 sugar scoops for a 1/48 Sabre Mk 6, $11US. IPMS Canada subscription is hitting around $60 USD just to cover the cost of Canadian postage. Canada has always hit US goods with Transaction Taxes for the last couple of decades. When I was in Canada with a CH-47D unit we had a Fire Detect Harnes go bad. The shipped one from Ft Meade Overnight. The package never showed and the CO told me to "Go find it". Turns out it was in the Customs House in Ottawa. They wanted to know what the cost was so they could assess a "Transaction Tax". I called the Canadian Liaison Office in the Pentagon, and we had the part the next day. Anybody in Austria carry them? JeffreyK
Coming soon from my workshop in JP: A revamped, re-designed and 100% 3D printed set of McD 370gal wing tanks in 1:72, with pylon mounting pins designed to be a drop fit for the FM F-4 kits. Mainly aiming for the F-4B of course, but also applicable for F-4C, F-4D, F-4N and F-4J (the latter rarely though as the tanks had mostly been replaced by Fletchers by then). I have no idea when shipping to the US may be available again. This is of course doing great harm to my business (the US has always been my main customer base, from day one, when I was still in the UK). My products can be bought at Victory Models in the US, I hope they themselves can survive. There is a way to ship trade orders to them for not a lot more cost than using Japan Post, but it's not viable for insividual customer orders. It's all, hmmm, less than ideal.... I'm obviously not going to replace the US market, but every bit helps (I hope). Cheers, Stefan.
