signals
I'm hoping to build both single and dual seat versions of the Indian AF MiG-25 in 1/48. Which kits may work? These are the ones that I think may work...but wanted to confirm https://www.luckymodel.com/scale.aspx?item_no=IC-48902 https://www.luckymodel.com/scale.aspx?item_no=KH80136 Edited April 28, 2020 by signals
madmanrick
The Indian Air Force flew both the MiG-25RBK and MiG-25RU. The Kittyhawk kit above is the PU model, which was the trainer for the interceptor versions of the MiG-25. The ICM kit is the RB model. So I guess it depends upon how accurate you are aiming to be? The ICM kit will get you much closer to an RBK, than the Kitty hawk will get you to an RU. Also be aware that the Kitty hawk kit of the interceptor which the PU kit is based, is said to be highly inaccurate and tough to build. I have not heard much about the PU kit, so I don't know how many of those issues were carried over from the PD kit.

Thanks Looking on LM https://www.luckymodel.com/scale.aspx?search=Y&q_brand=&q_category=&q_scale=48&q_word=mig-25&q_show_instock_only=N It seems ICM has a few more variants, so for the single seat which one would be the closest to the Indian MiG-25?
