Good looking Aardvark! Looks good sitting next to that Wild Weasel F-4G

too!

Cheers...Ron

Yep and the Tomcat on the background. There’s also an A-7 and an EA-6 there.

She's getting closer, won't be long now.

My RES/KIT F-111F cockpit finally arrived today so, when I get back to the bench, an Aardvark will be next.

Ah great, you got it straight from Ukraine?

Eager to see how that cockpit looks like.

Yes, straight from Kiev. I ordered it back on April 7th.

I used bristles from an old tooth brusch to make the static discharges. They are easy to get to the same length and they are the same the same thickness and you can make so many that even the carpet monster is happy and full 😛

That’s very smart, thanks.

but still they start at half circles connected to the wings, I will try to replicate that with the melted sprue.

For this sort of thing I used some pieces cut from a plastic wire wheel that came with my dremel when I did my S-3 and, ES-3A. I'll do the same thing when it comes time for my F-111. They are just like toothbrush bristles so they are flexible and won't break plus, they were already black so no painting involved. A careful application of CA on a thin piece of wire attaches them and a quick touch-up of paint hides the CA.
